Our history

Ducron Construction was founded in July 1973 as a sole-trading enterprise by the late Bev Douglas. His strong sense of personal responsibility was the very foundation of Ducron’s ethos which still remains to this day. Between 1973 and 1993, Ducron’s operations were confined to the retail fuel sector and developing filling stations.

In 1993, brothers Richard and Tim Douglas inherited the name and formed a Partnership. The subsequent years have seen the diversification of services, sustained growth and corporate change which has led to the formation of a privately limited company. Tim and Richard are now major Shareholders and Directors of Ducron Construction Limited.

A wealth of transferable skills and experience

Ducron originally operated almost exclusively within the retail fuel sector. Today, Ducron also work within the HV electrical and Gas utilities sector. These industries demand a very strict adherence to safety, quality control, environment and management for which we excel in all areas.
